Character Classes

Here is a spreadsheet with the basic info for the classes offered in Invoria. The top four are the basic, standard Classes, and the bottom three are the mixes, or "hybrids" that are up for offer. We've tried to make it as simple as possible, because not everyone's a D&D geek, we know. ;)
Also: Strangers to Invoria are required to have a character class upon entry. That's sort of the point of the verse. They are given the abilities of their specific class and sent out to "go forth and conquer", per se. It is up to the mun which class they choose; we can certainly help with recommendations if any are needed!
Natives of Invoria are not required to have a class, although such is certainly encouraged! We're aware that many native peoples are just trying to get by as they are and would not fall into the specific classes listed. That's fine. If they wish to gain a class as part of their character development, that's even better! Simply let us know and we'll add the change to the listing.
And remember that these are basic guidelines, not set in stone rules. It's perfectly fine to have a warrior who's a pickpocket when opportunity presents, or an elemental mage who has a very nice singing voice and can hold an audience spellbound for a short time. Or even a Ranger who can cast a spell of darkness to escape his/her enemies. Or a Paladin who's calling down the blessing of the gods with one hand while smiting the undead to bits with his morning star in the other. We just encourage everyone to take the general classes into account when they're developing their pups.
